Womens History Month
Her Time Hartford Key Note Speaker

On March 3rd, Dr. Antoinette Glenn served as the keynote speaker for Her Time Hartford, a Women’s History Month celebration themed “Live Your Dream: It’s Never Too Late.” Held as a hybrid event at the CRT Women’s Empowerment Center in Hartford, CT, the gathering brought together women from all walks of life to celebrate resilience, reclaim purpose, and reflect on the legacies they are building.
Dr. Glenn’s keynote address, titled “I’m History,” was a powerful testament to identity, empowerment, and redemption. Drawing from her memoir Found Guilty: My 26 Year Journey to Redemption, she shared her lived experience, the challenges she overcame, and the transformative lessons she now brings to audiences across the country. Her message reminded attendees that history is not just something we read—it’s something we write every day through our choices, courage, and growth.
In addition to Dr. Glenn’s keynote, the event featured presentations by Cynthia Baisden (CRT) and Jillian Davey (Amplify), and highlighted a vibrant tapestry of local leaders and community advocates who continue to inspire change.
This event underscored Dr. Glenn’s ongoing commitment to empowering women, amplifying second chances, and reminding others that their story is not over—it’s just getting started.
