As a child, Dr. Glenn aspired to be a pediatrician, but life decisions took her on a different path. Her interest shifted to education while serving a 97-month sentence in federal prison. The details of what led her there are not as important as what happened after….; God’s grace. Dr. Glenn’s journey has been arduous and heartbreaking, at times full of joy and full of pain, filled with loss and overflowing with gain. She was told by many that a career in education was not an option. Dr. Glenn’s goal and vision to impact the lives of others was her motivation to pursue what others deemed impossible. Through God’s grace she has spent the past 20 years giving back to her community, by serving high-risk economically disadvantaged children in the public school system.Dr. Glenn's ultimate goal is to leave this world a better place than she found it; using her God given talents and His grace. In this memoir, Dr. Glenn shares how prison saved her life and how poor choices taught invaluable life lessons.
