Her Time Waterbury Launch Event
Key Note Speaker

On June 21, 2023, Dr. Antoinette Glenn was honored to serve as the keynote speaker at the official launch of Her Time Waterbury, held at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, Connecticut. The event marked the expansion of the Her Time initiative, a program dedicated to empowering women through community, education, and support.
With the theme Unwind. Uplift. Unify., the launch brought together women from across the region for an afternoon of reflection, encouragement, and connection. Dr. Glenn’s keynote address centered on personal growth, self-expression, and the power of reclaiming one’s voice after adversity. Drawing from her lived experience and professional expertise, she delivered a message that resonated deeply with those in attendance—emphasizing that healing, leadership, and purpose are always within reach.
Founded by Charlie Grady, Her Time provides a safe and transformative space for women to learn from one another without fear of judgment or ridicule. The program includes support resources such as nutritious meals, childcare, and guided discussions designed to promote wellness, self-worth, and mutual empowerment.
Dr. Glenn’s presence at the Waterbury launch reinforced the mission of the movement: to make room for women to rise—together.
